New Orleans, Louisiana to Natchez, Mississippi
Collecting the car in New Orleans we planned to follow the Mississippi up to Natchez, one of the oldest towns in the South. The route took us along the uneventful I10 and then up the ‘Blues Highway’, Highway 61.
The direct drive is about 3 hours although we had arranged a visit to a classic antebellum plantation house on the way.
