Also, the Upper Barrakka Gardens, where the Knights of St John used to promenade in the hot sun back in the day. You can also head to the Valletta waterfront where you can the expensive yachts. Take A Trip To Gozo

Gozo is an island just next to mainland Malta where you can take a ferry for the day. It has many famous locations that have been used in television productions such as Game of Thrones and is well worth checking out. It also has a host of stunning bays and beaches, architecture and other things to do and see. To get your cultural fix, you can head to the Basilica of the National Shrine, or the Ġgantija Temples, part of the group of UNESCO-listed Megalithic Temples across the islands. You could also get a red bus tour around the island which is great to hop on and off at different spots.

Go To The Blue Lagoon

The Blue Lagoon is another “not to be missed” destination when heading to Malta for a long weekend. You could choose to do a guided tour, take a taxi or hire your own speed boat to get there. It’s the most stunning lagoon with crystal clear waters where you can sunbathe, swim and take in the sheer beauty of your surroundings. There are caves that are worth exploring as well as a hike up the cliffs where you can enjoy the beautiful views of the coast.
